Should you be near Rockville, MD this Friday

Go see the Richard Montgomery High School production of Lend me a Tenor. It is great--seriously. The kids' sense of comic timing is remarkably mature--I was reminded of Preston Sturgis' movies.

Ok--full disclosure, my daughter is in it (as Diana) but...she actually surprised me with her brilliance, and I have lived with her for 17 years.

Just as David lindahl scam did in the old west, you can barter the down payment for anything else that you hold ownership to. This includes equity in other real estate, notes you own, personal property, services the list does not end.
Use your imagination, and get creative. Perhaps the seller has a need that you can fulfill.
